Nicole Kidman and Sandra Bullock marked the London premiere of "Practical Magic 2" with a celebratory party at the Broadwick Soho hotel, attended by co-stars and cast members from the original film. The event followed the global promotional tour for the sequel, which arrives 28 years after the first movie became a cult classic.

Kidman, 59, arrived in a custom silver Chanel gown featuring a cascade of chains and pearls, while Bullock, 62, donned a strapless leopard print dress by Givenchy. The afterparty was held at the hotel's Flute bar. For travel between the premiere and the party, Kidman used a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van to preserve her fitted Chanel dress.

Also present were Joey King and Maisie Williams, who portray the daughters of Bullock's character in the sequel. King, 27, wore a sheer custom Miu Miu gown and displayed newly dyed red hair. Williams, 29, chose a red corset-style dress by Ellie Misner, reportedly inspired by Bullock's 1999 look for "Forces of Nature." Stockard Channing and Dianne Wiest, who played the eccentric aunts in both the original and the new film, also attended. Channing, 82, wore a dark blue suit, marking her first red carpet appearance in two years, while Wiest, 78, opted for a flowing black dress.

"Practical Magic 2" reunites Kidman as Sally Owens and Bullock as Gillian Owens, sisters who navigate their family's legacy of witchcraft. Channing and Wiest reprise their roles as aunts Frances and Bridget Owens. The roles of the younger Owens sisters have been recast for the sequel; Evan Rachel Wood and Alexandra Artrip, who played younger daughters in the 1998 film, did not return for their original parts.

The sequel, adapted from Alice Hoffman's 2021 story "The Book of Magic," takes place 25 years after the original. Kidman and Bullock also executive produced the Warner Bros. Pictures film, which includes Lee Pace and Solly McLeod in its cast. A synopsis states that the "Owens women must once again unite, traveling from their home in Massachusetts to the United Kingdom to confront the source of their magic and save the next generation of their family."

Earlier this month, Kidman and Bullock surprised fans by appearing at a screening of the original "Practical Magic" at Hollywood Forever Cemetery in Los Angeles. The original 1998 film grossed $68.3 million globally, falling short of its $75 million budget but achieving cult status. "Practical Magic 2" is scheduled for release on September 11.
