Khloe Kardashian playfully scolded sister Kylie Jenner on Monday after Jenner posted a promotional photo holding a cat for her new Khy x HYDRA collection.
In the comments on Jenner’s Instagram post, Khloe wrote, "Gray kitty and baby kitty are fuming! That's rude!" The message appeared to reference the family pets Gray Kitty, adopted in 2021, and Baby Kitty, who joined the family in April 2024, and suggested Jenner had hired an outside feline for the shoot instead of using one of the Kardashians’ own cats.
Jenner, founder and creative director of Khy, used the Instagram post to promote the capsule collection created in collaboration with HYDRA. In a statement included with the launch materials, she described the partnership as a melding of precision tailoring and versatility. "It was incredible to work with an artist like Anna from HYDRA, who is an expert in experimental design and structure," Jenner said. "We took inspiration from the classic trench to create true foundational staples that are easy to style and designed to last. I love how powerful and effortless this collection feels, and how it can easily be added into your everyday wardrobe. These are pieces you'll want to reach for over and over again."
Anna Gloria Flores, founder of HYDRA, said the capsule draws from "classic sartorial rainwear while embedding a system of material resilience," adding that the collection proposes outerwear as "a modular extension of the body—responsive, enduring, and intimately attuned to its environment. Together these pieces become a clothing system built on support, adaptability, and mutual reinforcement."
Khy x HYDRA consists of five wardrobe staples: three outerwear pieces and two skirts, each offered in taupe and black. The outerwear lineup includes a Relaxed Trench Coat with a belted silhouette, a Cropped Parka designed for layering, and a Short Trench Coat with a cinching detail to shift between fitted and relaxed looks. The two skirts are a Button Front Maxi Skirt, which can be worn closed or open, and a Structured Mini Skirt intended to move from day to evening. The capsule is available in sizes XXS through 4X, with prices ranging from $118 to $323.
The collection was set to be available exclusively on Khy.com on Sept. 18 at 9 a.m. PT / 12 p.m. ET. Jenner’s social-media promotion, and the lighthearted exchange with Khloe, followed a long pattern of familial interactions on public platforms that often draw attention alongside the commercial launches of Kardashian-Jenner brands.
