Kelly Osbourne has relocated to the United Kingdom, stating that she has "never been a California girl" and finds greater happiness raising her son there. The 41-year-old described her return to the UK as transformative, emphasizing her desire to provide a happy environment for her 3-year-old son, Sidney, who now attends the same Buckinghamshire preschool she once did.

Osbourne cited concerns over gun violence in the United States as a significant factor in her decision. "I don’t ever want to have to explain to my son what to do during a gun raid," she told Hello! magazine. "That’s the realistic thing that you have to do in schools in America, and to me, that’s insanity."

In addition to her move, Osbourne is navigating life following her breakup with fiancé Sid Wilson earlier this year and the recent death of her father, Ozzy Osbourne. She described the past year as "the hardest" but finds strength in her son, calling him "the happiest person in the world."

Osbourne also shared details about her family's experience after her father's passing. "We didn’t put my dad in any sort of morgue," she said. "He came straight home and we got to spend a few days with him and mourn with him, and make sure that everything was the way we wanted it to be."

She also addressed public commentary on her appearance during her grieving period, stating, "I wasn’t well." Osbourne indicated she is now receiving support and is "getting a lot better."

Her brother, Jack Osbourne, commented on her post-breakup state, telling The Sun that Kelly is in a "happier place" and has established a "good routine" focused on motherhood. While Osbourne has not commented on the specifics of her engagement's end in the Hello! interview, she did express a need for healing and asked for her belongings and child support from Wilson via Instagram Stories.

Osbourne has yet to sell her Los Feliz, California, home, which she listed in late 2024 for $4.35 million.
