Kelly Osbourne on Estranged Sister Aimee: 'I Don't Want You in My Life'

Kelly Osbourne has opened up about the fractured relationship with her estranged older sister, Aimee Osbourne, stating that reconciliation is unlikely and that she no longer wishes to have Aimee in her life.

In an appearance on the "We Need To Talk" podcast, Kelly described her sister as being "in her own world" during the time "The Osbournes" reality show was filmed and expressed a belief that Aimee may have been "embarrassed" by the family. "It was always me and Jack," Kelly said of her relationship with her brother during their youth, contrasting it with Aimee's distance.

The youngest daughter of Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne admitted to feeling resentment over not having a "big sister" to guide her. "I will tell you it's one of the hardest things in my life that I never got a big sister, and I had to learn how to do certain things that a big sister should have taught you, on my own," Kelly stated. "I do have a resentment there, I'll have that forever."

Aimee Osbourne, who lived in the guest house at the time, declined to participate in "The Osbournes," which aired on MTV from 2002 to 2005. This decision has been a significant point of contention for Kelly. "We're very different. Everything I am, she's not. Everything she is, I'm not," Kelly explained. "Like, you couldn't be more polar opposite. We're like oil and water."

While Kelly respects her sister's choices, she drew a firm line: "If you're not going to accept me for who I am and constantly trying to change me and say horrible things about me and truly seem to thrive when I'm not doing well, I don't want you in my life."

In a 2020 interview, Aimee shared her perspective on avoiding the reality show, telling Q1043 radio that she valued her privacy and wanted to develop her own identity outside of her famous family. "For me, I had grown up around having a pretty well-known dad anyway, and... I always really valued my privacy within that family," Aimee said, as reported by People. "And for me personally, and for who I am, you know, as far as morally and also just to give myself a chance to actually develop into a human being as opposed to just being remembered for being a teenager, it didn't really line up with what I saw my future as."

She added that while the show worked for the rest of her family, it was not a path she could realistically consider for herself. Aimee has maintained a career as a singer and songwriter, performing under the name ARO. She has occasionally appeared at family events, including Ozzy Osbourne's funeral in July 2025.
