Kelley Wolf, the estranged wife of actor Scott Wolf, has entered a rehabilitation program following her arrest last month on charges that a Utah judge marked as domestic violence-related, multiple outlets reported.
At an arraignment last week, Kelley Wolf, 48, told the judge she would begin treatment and that she planned to attend a treatment center starting Sept. 12 for a month. “This is what was asked of” her by Scott Wolf, 57, she said, adding that she was “excited” and “looking forward to” the program. She said her brother would drive her to the facility and described the center as one she had previously recommended in her work as a mental health professional.
Kelley Wolf was arrested Aug. 26 and transported to the Summit County Jail, authorities and reports said. She faces one count of misdemeanor electronic communications harassment and two counts of misdemeanor electronic disclosure of personal identifying information; the presiding judge marked all three charges as domestic violence-related. It was not immediately clear why she began her reported 30-day program nearly a week before the Sept. 12 date she cited at arraignment.
Before losing access to her phone, Kelley Wolf posted on Instagram that she felt “confused” and “scared,” and denied being suicidal or a danger to others. According to reports, some of her alleged social media activity in recent months included posting about her and Scott Wolf’s three minor children and sharing what was described as her estranged husband’s phone number after referring to him as the “most hated man on earth.” Those actions allegedly violated a gag order that bars both parents from publicly discussing each other, their marriage, their divorce or their children.
Scott Wolf filed for divorce in June and currently has custody of the children, according to reporting. Kelley Wolf has been placed on two psychiatric holds since the divorce filing, the reports said. Representatives for both Scott and Kelley Wolf were contacted for comment, Page Six reported.
The charges against Kelley Wolf are misdemeanor counts related to electronic communications and the disclosure of personal information. Domestic violence markings on such charges can affect court procedures and potential penalties; officials in Summit County have not released additional comment beyond the filings and arraignment proceedings. No trial date was announced in the reports.
The developments follow a period of public and legal contention between the couple. Scott Wolf, known for his acting career that includes television roles spanning decades, has largely remained out of public comment since the divorce filing. People, Page Six and other outlets reported the rehabilitation report and the details from the arraignment. Page Six said it reached out to representatives for both parties for comment.
Court records and local authorities will determine next steps in the case, including whether the treatment plan affects pending proceedings or any pretrial conditions. The family’s legal teams and the Utah court system handle calendar updates and further filings, which may clarify the timing and length of Kelley Wolf’s treatment and any future hearings.
