Kelley Wolf, the estranged wife of actor Scott Wolf, has entered a rehabilitation program following her arrest last month on domestic violence-related misdemeanor charges, multiple outlets reported.

During an arraignment last week in Utah, Kelley Wolf, 48, told a judge she planned to attend a treatment center beginning Sept. 12 and said she expected to remain for about a month. "I have informed everyone that needs to know [that] I will be attending a [treatment center] starting on Sept. 12," she said, adding that the stay was what her husband, 57-year-old Scott Wolf, had asked for "for six months." She said she felt "excited" and was "looking forward to" the program and that her brother would take her. Page Six reported that representatives for both Scott and Kelley Wolf were contacted for comment; People confirmed the rehab report to multiple sources.

Kelley Wolf was arrested Aug. 26 and taken to Summit County Jail. Authorities charged her with one count of misdemeanor electronic communications harassment and two counts of misdemeanor electronic disclosure of personal identifying information; the presiding judge designated all three counts as domestic violence-related, according to People. Court filings and reporting say the charges stem from social media posts that allegedly violated a gag order restricting both parents from publicly discussing each other, their marriage, their divorce or their children.

Before losing access to her phone after the arrest, Kelley Wolf posted on her Instagram Story that she felt "confused" and "scared," and said she had "no idea why" she was being taken into custody. In those posts she wrote she was "not suicidal" and "no danger to anyone," and asserted she had "no mental disorders. No drugs. No arrest." Reports note that in prior social-media activity she allegedly posted about the couple's three minor children, publicly shared Scott Wolf's phone number and called him the "most hated man on earth."

Kelley Wolf has been placed on two psychiatric holds since Scott Wolf filed for divorce in June, People reported. Scott Wolf currently has custody of the children, according to court filings cited by media outlets.

Kelley identified herself in court as a mental-health professional and told the judge she had recommended the treatment facility she planned to attend. It was not immediately clear why she reportedly began a 30-day treatment stay almost a week earlier than the Sept. 12 date she mentioned in court.

The misdemeanor counts remain pending in Utah. Page Six and People reported the developments based on court appearances and confirmation from multiple sources; representatives for the Wolfs have been contacted for comment and had not publicly commented as of the latest reports.

Scott Wolf is known for his acting career and Kelley Wolf previously appeared on the reality series The Real World: New Orleans. The case is part of an ongoing and contentious divorce and custody dispute that has included judicial orders and law-enforcement intervention.

Further court dates have not been publicly detailed in recent coverage. The reports indicate the rehabilitation stay and the criminal case will proceed concurrently as the couple's divorce and custody matters continue through the Utah court system.
