Manon Bannerman, a member of the girl group Katseye, is still listed as an official member of Katseye LLC, according to business records obtained by Page Six. The document, filed on July 17, indicates that Bannerman, 24, remains on the books alongside the other five members. This development comes amid fan speculation about her status with the group since she began a hiatus in February.

Bannerman was the first member to step away to focus on her health and wellbeing. HYBE and Geffen Records announced her temporary departure on Weverse less than two months before the group's debut at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in April. At the time, the labels stated their full support for her decision and assured fans that the group would continue scheduled activities, with the expectation of reuniting when the time was right.

During her absence, Bannerman has shared updates thanking fans for their patience and confirming she is healthy, though she has not addressed a potential return. Her social media activity, including temporarily removing references to Katseye from her Instagram bio while the group promoted its single "Pinky Up," further fueled rumors of a departure. The group proceeded with scheduled activities as a five-member unit, including appearances around the time of the Coachella festival. Their last performance as a full six-member group was at the 68th Grammy Awards.

Katseye, formed through the "Dream Academy" competition in 2023, has experienced other member absences. Sophia Laforteza, the group's leader, also took a hiatus starting August 7, leading to her absence from the European leg of the "Wildworld Tour." The group also had to withdraw from Olivia Rodrigo's Daisy Chain Fields festival after Megan Skiendiel suffered an ankle injury. Despite these changes, Katseye has continued to perform, releasing its third EP, "Wild," last month, which featured the five active members on its cover art.

Katseye, consisting of Bannerman, Laforteza, Skiendiel, Lara Raj, Daniela Avanzini, and Yoonchae Jeong, was nominated for two awards at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards. The group performed "Gnarly" during the ceremony, marking their final performance as a complete sextet.
