Director Michael Head has expressed significant frustration with Katie Price after she failed to participate in promotional activities for her film debut, "Jackie The Stripper." Price, who reportedly "begged for a role" in the racy comedy, has not attended the film's premiere or engaged in its recent release to rent and buy platforms.

"This is about female empowerment. This is about all the things that we're making a film for. And Katie's just snubbed it which is not really what's done," Head stated, describing her actions as "disgusting."

Price's representatives have denied any obligation for further promotion and declined to comment on her absence from the premiere. It was understood in June that the former glamour model would attend the premiere, with her management team confirming her attendance just four days prior. However, two days before the event, her attendance was canceled, with the reason provided being her decision to remain overseas.

A source told the Daily Mail that Price's withdrawal at short notice was disappointing, especially after her attendance had been confirmed multiple times. The source also noted that Price had directly contacted the director asking for her ticket to the event on May 6, 2026.

"Jackie The Stripper," released last month, is set in London's Whitechapel district in 1888. Price, 48, plays a character named Lisa, who mentors the lead character Jackie, portrayed by Charlotte Kirk, 34. The film's synopsis describes Jackie as navigating the world of strip clubs while dealing with the infamous Jack the Ripper and a secret organization known as The Court. The plot also involves a modern-day element with female assassins led by Jackie.

Other cast members, including Kimberly Wyatt, Charlotte Kirk, Patsy Kensit, Chloe Meadows, and Jamie Lomas, have reportedly participated in promoting the film's release on Amazon Prime. Price's prior acting credit includes a cameo in the 2017 film "Sharknado 5: Global Swarming."
