Katie Price told an audience on the opening night of her tour with Kerry Katona that there were "three of us" in her marriage to Peter Andre and said she had endured "16 years of hell" since their split.
The former glamour model, 47, made the remarks Saturday at Marine Hall in Fleetwood during "An Evening with Katie and Kerry," where she recounted aspects of her relationship with Andre and recent renewed attention on their past. Price said she was "glad that the truth is now coming out."
Price said the dynamic began after they left I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! in 2004, when she discovered Andre already had a management team. She told the audience, quoting Princess Diana in summary of the arrangement, that Andre's manager "ended up managing me and Pete and... There were three of us in the marriage." Her friend and co-star Kerry Katona, 45, interjected during the exchange, joking that she had been the one to introduce the two on the reality show.
Price said the relationship left her with "good memories" but that she had suffered for years after the split. "I’ve suffered 16 years cause of it, from when I split up I've had 16 years of hell," she said, adding that she welcomed the new scrutiny on social media.
The comments come as clips from the couple's 2000s reality series have circulated online, prompting renewed criticism of Andre, 52. The resurfaced footage includes scenes in which Andre appears to mock and verbally attack Price, and a clip in which he is shown laughing after a remark aimed at Price's disabled former stepson, Harvey, has been widely shared and condemned on social platforms. One excerpt shows Andre launching a string of profanities at Price, calling her a "f**g idiot" and an "arrogant bh," language that has drawn attention as the footage re-emerges.
Andre has said the clips are selective and rejected accusations of being disablist. In a recent interview with The Telegraph, he said, "Well, look, nobody's perfect. No-one's perfect in this world. Everyone makes mistakes. But you get the measure of me by meeting me." He added that people form impressions over time but declined to answer questions about Price.
The renewed scrutiny also followed a statement from Andre earlier this month that accused Price of "peddling baseless lies" about their arrangements for their children. In his response, Andre said their children moved in with him in 2018 "for their safety" and that a family court issued a legally binding order in 2019 to enforce that arrangement. Representatives for Andre declined to comment when approached by the Daily Mail.
Price has previously said she was upset after being excluded from filming on her daughter Princess's ITV2 series, The Princess Diaries, and claimed she was not welcome at her daughter's 18th birthday party. Princess, who turns 18 this year, has publicly sought to distance herself from her parents' rows. Speaking to the Guardian, she said the show focuses on her and is "not based on my parents," and added that there is "no rift between me and either of my parents." Princess told the Daily Mail she does not get involved in her parents' public disputes because she believes it is "not worth" it.
Price has continued to address the dispute in public outlets, saying on her podcast that she "refuses to be gaslit." The exchange between Price and Andre follows years of high-profile attention to their marriage and subsequent split, and the recent circulation of past televised footage has fueled debate about how the relationship was presented at the time and how it is viewed now.
Both Price and Andre remain public figures with active media presences; the latest statements and resurfaced clips have kept their long-running feud in the headlines and prompted renewed discussion about accountability and portrayal in celebrity reality programming.
