Katie Price has observed that her daughter Princess takes after her father, Peter Andre, in being 'image conscious,' contrasting with her own youthful rebelliousness. Price, 48, made these comments while appearing on her daughter's ITV show, discussing parenting styles and the influence of Princess's father.

Princess, 19, shared that her father would often prevent her from wearing certain outfits and encouraged a more conservative appearance during her younger years. "You know why I think I'm a bit more vain, because I've grown up and always had to be conscious of doing the right thing," Princess explained. She attributed this inclination to her father's side of the family, stating, "Yeah he always taught me to be like that."

Price contrasted this with her own approach, admitting she had a more carefree attitude. "I would do what I want, there were paps and I'd come out of a club and I'd play up to it be like wahey - whereas you're not like that. You're definitely a clean cut image," Price told her daughter. She further described Princess as a "polished turd" in comparison to her own less refined, rebellious persona.

Princess suggested that her upbringing might have been different had she spent more time with her mother. "I think if I'd lived with you full time I'd be like that," she stated.

Later in the episode, Princess and her brother Junior were at their father's house for a barbecue, where further differences in parenting became apparent. Peter Andre recounted being strict with his children regarding social media and phone usage, even when they were teenagers. Princess revealed she had a secret phone to circumvent rules about not having devices in her bedroom.

"I understand that my dad didn't want us to have phones upstairs until we were 14, but I think that's just part of growing up, testing the limits," Princess said. She also queried her father about his rules for boyfriends, to which he humorously responded that they would still have to sleep downstairs.

Price acknowledged the contrasting parenting styles, noting the "clean" influences of Emily (Andre's current wife) and Peter, and her own role as "good chaos." She concluded by expressing pride in her daughter's accomplishments.
