Lee Andrews, husband of Katie Price, has revealed the death of one of the couple's cats in a Cameo video message. The announcement comes as Andrews, who was recently released from prison in Dubai, has garnered attention for his rapid hair growth and new hairstyle.
Andrews shared the news of the pet's passing while discussing his personal grooming. "One has just passed away," he stated, referring to one of their Sphynx cats, bringing their total to seven. He also mentioned their other pets, including eight Sphynxes, five dogs, and five horses, detailing a desire to acquire a new horse. Price has faced scrutiny from animal charities due to a history of pet deaths while in her care, which have included dogs, a horse, and a chameleon. Price has previously attributed these incidents to "bad luck" and circumstances beyond her control, asserting her love for animals and nurturing nature.
In a separate discussion, PETA offered Price £5,000 in February 2024 to stop acquiring more animals, citing concerns over the number of pets that had died or been given away under her supervision. A representative for Price stated that she had requested direct conversations with PETA, criticizing the organization for playing out the narrative in the media.
Andrews, who was reportedly held in Al Awir Central Prison in Dubai on fraud allegations, maintains he was captured at gunpoint and suspected of espionage. Since his release, he has been documenting his experience, including a dramatic hair transformation. In a video shared on Instagram, Andrews thanked his barber for styling his hair, describing it as a "massive reinvention" and a "wet through messy look."
His new hairstyle, which appeared to grow significantly in a short period after his release, has been a subject of online discussion and memes. Andrews has also begun offering personalized Cameo videos for £36, occasionally referencing his imprisonment and promoting businesses.
Andrews has continued to address allegations of fraud, specifically those involving a £200,000 mortgage taken out in his ex-fiancée Dina Taji's name. He denies these claims, stating there is no evidence against him and questioning the logic of such an action.
