Katie Price performed at Manchester Pride on Friday, taking to the stage in a neon cut-out leotard. The 48-year-old singer performed her hit "I Got U," a cover of Bryan Adams' "Heaven," and CeCe Peniston's "Finally" for the crowd.
During her performance, Price told the audience, "I'm a real person, I'm not a product. I'm just like all of us here. We all have our ups and downs."
Her appearance at the event comes shortly after she shared cryptic social media posts alluding to being "hurt" and experiencing "difficult times." These posts emerged amidst ongoing marital issues with her husband, Lee Andrews.
Price's marriage to Andrews, a businessman, has reportedly been tumultuous since their January wedding. Reports have detailed his prison sentences, accusations of lying, and allegations of scamming ex-partners.
Despite these challenges, Price has continued to wear her wedding ring and has been seen publicly with it. On Instagram, she posted a graphic that read, "My side of the story doesn't matter anymore. Life happened, it hurt, I healed, but most importantly, I learned who deserves a seat at my table and who will never sit at it again." She also shared a quote stating, "I will never, ever forget who helped me in difficult times, who put me in difficult times, and who left me in difficult times," adding the caption "I survived."
It is understood that her husband, Lee Andrews, remains in jail. While reports suggested his release in July following a stint in Dubai's Al Awir prison for fraud claims, sources now indicate he was not released. These sources claim his fellow inmates are "fed up with his constant lies."
Price has previously spoken on her podcast about holding her husband accountable. She stated her intention to have the podcast producer interview Andrews in depth about his actions and the impact on others.
Earlier on Friday evening, Price was seen vaping as she headed to the venue. She appeared in good spirits, flashing her wedding ring while accompanied by companions.
