Katie Price apologised to the audience on stage after a group of women were removed from a show she was performing with Kerry Katona, a disturbance that delayed the second half of the performance at the Floral Pavilion in New Brighton.

The delay occurred on Sunday evening, Sept. 7, during their tell-all tour An Evening with Katie Price & Kerry Katona. Price told the crowd she was sorry for the extended interval, saying, "Sorry about the drama. It had nothing to do with us," and she and Katona said they had been watching events unfold on a television backstage. Katona criticised the group for "ruining the show for everybody else" before the pair resumed the programme and performed hit songs.

Security staff were seen speaking to members of the audience during the first half of the event, and the hosts initially announced an interval of about 15 minutes. The start of the second act was delayed as security and theatre staff dealt with the incident in the front row. Reports said an unknown number of women were escorted from the venue to applause from other audience members. Two police cars were later seen outside the theatre.

Merseyside Police confirmed they received a report at just before 9:10 p.m. from Floral Pavilion security that a number of females had been asked to leave due to "drunken and disruptive behaviour." The force said it was reported some of those asked to leave refused and were verbally abusive towards staff, and that enquiries into the matter are ongoing.

The incident follows a series of public appearances on the pair's tour in which Price and Katona combine on-stage conversation with musical performances. Price, 47, and Katona, 45, launched the touring show this year. The pair have drawn media attention for candid discussions about their private lives during Q&A segments.

In a separate appearance last week in Lancashire, Price discussed her fertility and desire for more children, saying she had been told her "eggs are f***ed" but that she believed there were still ways to have more children. Price made a Channel 4 documentary about an IVF attempt filmed in 2023 before her split from then-fiancé Carl Woods; representatives for Price declined to comment to the Daily Mail about the New Brighton disturbance.

The Floral Pavilion did not immediately respond to requests for comment. The incident did not appear to result in arrests, according to the police statement, which said enquiries were ongoing.

The show resumed after the delay and continued its scheduled run. The New Brighton appearance forms part of a wider set of dates for the duo’s tour, which has included on-stage discussions of personal topics alongside performances of popular songs associated with Katona’s band, Atomic Kitten, and Price’s media career.
