Katie Holmes celebrated her boyfriend Jason Bard Yarmosky's 39th birthday, marking the occasion with a photo shared to her Instagram account on Tuesday. The image showed the couple holding microphones on stage, suggesting a karaoke outing. Holmes also posted a picture of Yarmosky's birthday cake.
'Happy Birthday to the best of the best…' Holmes captioned the post. The couple, who went Instagram official last month, were also recently seen together at designer Michael Kors's 45th anniversary dinner in East Hampton, New York. At the event, Yarmosky appeared comfortable among Holmes's social circle, including Naomi Watts and Christie Brinkley.
Holmes and Yarmosky's relationship became public knowledge three weeks prior to the birthday celebration when they attended a Ferragamo pop-up event in Bridgehampton, New York. "I think we just have similar taste," Holmes told Elle magazine when asked about their coordinated outfits.
Earlier in July, they attended the premiere of "The Invite" in East Hampton, where an eyewitness told People they were "hand in hand" and that Holmes was "laughing" at something Yarmosky whispered to her. They reportedly "seemed very easy together and there was a smile on her face all night."
The pair met in June at a Tribeca Festival dinner in New York City. Yarmosky, a native New Yorker, focuses on themes of aging, time, and memory in his artistic work. He graduated from the School of Visual Arts in New York with a BFA in 2010.
Holmes's previous relationships include musician Bobby Wooten III, chef Emilio Vitolo Jr., and Jamie Foxx. She shares her 20-year-old daughter, Suri, with ex-husband Tom Cruise. It has been reported that Suri has not yet met Yarmosky.
