Katie Holmes, 47, and her boyfriend, artist Jason Bard Yarmosky, 38, displayed public affection at the Cult Gaia show during New York Fashion Week on Wednesday. The couple, who began dating in June, were observed holding hands as they entered the event and sharing an intimate conversation while seated.
Holmes wore a black off-the-shoulder blouse paired with loose-fitting black trousers and pointed-toe heels. Yarmosky opted for a dark grey raw hem T-shirt, black pants, and black boots. The actress styled her shoulder-length brunette hair with a side part and accessorized with small gold hoop earrings.
The pair, who met at the Tribeca Film Festival earlier this summer, were seated next to supermodels Helena Christensen and Iman. An eyewitness told People in July that Yarmosky was seen whispering in Holmes's ear, and she appeared to be laughing, adding that they seemed "very easy together" and that Holmes had "a smile on her face all night."
Their relationship became Instagram official in July when Yarmosky shared photos of Holmes with his followers. Holmes publicly acknowledged their relationship on September 1, posting a picture of them singing karaoke to celebrate his birthday, captioning it, "Happy Birthday to the best of the best…❤️."
Earlier in July, Holmes and Yarmosky attended the premiere of The Invite in East Hampton, where they were reportedly holding hands upon arrival.
Days prior to the fashion show, the couple vacationed in Lake Como, with Yarmosky sharing snapshots from the trip online.
Yarmosky, born in 1987, graduated from the School of Visual Arts in New York City with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2010. His work, according to his official website, explores themes of aging, time, and memory, subjects that have interested him since childhood.
Holmes previously dated musician Bobby Wooten III, chef Emilio Vitolo Jr., and Jamie Foxx. She has a 20-year-old daughter, Suri Cruise, from her marriage to Tom Cruise.
