Comedian Kathy Griffin, 65, has announced a new relationship on social media, introducing a man she states is 22 years old.
Griffin, known for her roles in "Suddenly Susan" and "My Life on the D-List," posted a picture on Instagram showing her holding hands with the unidentified younger man. The caption read, "He's 22. Have at it, internet."
This announcement follows a previous social media post in mid-May where Griffin shared a photo with another unknown man, described as being closer to her age. She had captioned that post, "We're insta official. Deal with it." That photo has since been removed, suggesting the earlier relationship may have ended.
Fans and celebrity friends have responded positively to the potential new romance. Courtney Stodden, who has experience with age-gap relationships, commented, "You'll always be hot." Another fan offered, "Enjoy. Just don't talk about Tv shows or music," while another cheered, "Get it momma."
Griffin has previously spoken about dating younger men. In an article published in December of the previous year, she revealed she had fallen for a 23-year-old after her 2025 split from ex-husband Randy Bick, who was nearly two decades her junior at 47.
"I accidentally fell in love with a 23-year-old," Griffin wrote for The Cut, explaining that his age meant he lacked the common sexism and biases she had encountered in older men. She felt comfortable and content with him, but ultimately recognized the age difference presented challenges.
"I knew he was too young when he told me he never wanted to have kids and that he could be with me forever. And I was like: 'You don't know that. You're 23. You have no idea,' " she recounted. "So I had to set that dove free."
