Supermodel Kate Moss is reportedly venturing into the world of floristry, drawing inspiration from her passion for gardening cultivated at her country home.

Moss, 52, acquired her mansion in Little Faringdon, Cotswolds, in 2004 and has since embraced a more tranquil lifestyle away from the bustle of London. A source close to Moss indicated that her interest in gardening has become the foundation for a new business endeavor. "Kate fell in love with gardening after moving to the Cotswolds and this is forming the basis of her new venture," the source told The Sun. "She has been experimenting with some ideas and she's decided her own range is the way to go."

Moss herself has previously spoken about her appreciation for a quieter life. In 2022, she commented on her enjoyment of domestic activities, stating, "Pottering around my home in the country is one of my favourite things to do – it's when I'm most happy." She also mentioned her fondness for tending to houseplants, deeming a good watering can essential.

This burgeoning interest in horticulture aligns with Moss's recent engagement with the floral community. In May, she attended the Royal Hospital Chelsea for an early preview of the annual Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) event. During her visit, the renowned Peter Beales Roses nursery prepared to launch several new rose varieties, including one named in her honor.

The white and lemon-hued rose, christened the ‘Kate Moss,’ was unveiled at this year's Chelsea Flower Show. Described by Peter Beales' as "a study in modern elegance" that "speaks directly to the sensibilities of today’s cultural landscape," the rose is characterized as one for those who "appreciate understatement over excess; refinement over spectacle."

Upon hearing about the rose named after her, Moss remarked, "Peter Beales naming a rose after me feels beautifully strange – knowing I could bloom quietly in someone’s garden somewhere."
