Supermodel Kate Moss is reportedly venturing into a new career in floristry, inspired by her passion for gardening at her home in the Cotswolds. Moss, 52, has owned her countryside mansion in Little Faringdon since 2004, embracing a more tranquil lifestyle since relocating from London.
A source indicated to The Sun that Moss's interest in gardening, which grew after her move to the Cotswolds, has become the foundation for this new endeavor. "She has been experimenting with some ideas and she's decided her own range is the way to go," the source stated.
Moss has previously spoken about her appreciation for a quieter life. In 2022, she mentioned that tending to her home and houseplants in the country is a source of happiness. "Pottering around my home in the country is one of my favourite things to do - it's when I'm most happy," she said at the time. "I love tending to my houseplants so a good watering can is essential."
Her connection to horticulture was further highlighted in May when she attended the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) event at the Royal Hospital Chelsea. During the event, a rose named in her honor was set to be launched by the floral nursery Peter Beales Roses. The white and lemon bloom, described as "a study in modern elegance" and suited for those who "appreciate understatement over excess," was debuted at the Chelsea Flower Show.
Commenting on the rose named after her, Moss remarked, "Peter Beales naming a rose after me feels beautifully strange – knowing I could bloom quietly in someone’s garden somewhere."
