Supermodel Kate Moss was seen with a smile on her face as she attended a party hosted by fellow model Twiggy in New York on Thursday. Moss, 52, arrived at the event wearing a black minidress and a white blazer, a change from her earlier casual attire.
The gathering was in support of Twiggy's self-titled documentary, which chronicles her career in fashion and is set for a U.S. on-demand release on September 22. The documentary previously premiered in UK cinemas in March.
Meanwhile, across the Atlantic, Moss's former romantic partner, Pete Doherty, attended the Deauville Film Festival in France. The frontman for The Libertines appeared at the festival's Icon Award ceremony, dressed in a suit and scarf.
Moss and Doherty were a high-profile couple in the mid-2000s. Doherty's autobiography, "A Likely Lad," detailed the tumultuous nature of their relationship, including an incident where he claims to have accidentally set off a panic alarm at Moss's home, leading to a police response. Doherty has also been open about his past struggles with drug addiction, which led to multiple court charges and periods of rehabilitation.
In 2005, Doherty entered a rehab clinic in Arizona. He recounted in his autobiography how Moss had planned to visit him and take him on a helicopter trip to the Grand Canyon, but she did not show up. Shortly after, he left the clinic, and Moss subsequently ended their relationship. The incident was cited as a factor contributing to the end of their two-year relationship in July 2007.
Doherty later settled down, beginning a relationship with Katia de Vidas in 2012, and they relocated to France. Moss, who was once known for a lifestyle that included early morning prosecco and wine and vodka at lunch, has reportedly shifted towards yoga and wellness in recent years. She has spent recent summers on holiday with her daughter Lila and friends. In the past, she also reconnected with her sister Lottie, though their relationship has reportedly faced challenges.
