Model and actress Kaia Gerber has shared an account of undergoing an exorcism as a child, an experience she described as involving a didgeridoo.
Gerber, the daughter of supermodel Cindy Crawford and entrepreneur Rande Gerber, discussed the incident during an appearance on "The Mitch Churi Chat Show," released recently. She stated that she was told she was “possessed” as a child and that her mother provided her with holy water for the set of "American Horror Story" to prevent possession.
When asked by host Mitch Churi if she had an exorcism, Gerber confirmed that she did. She then explained that the ritual involved playing a didgeridoo, an Australian wind instrument known for its deep, droning sound. "They played a didgeridoo all over me. That's how they did the exorcism," she said, according to HuffPost.
Gerber, who has also appeared in "Bottoms" and "Saturday Night Live," has spoken about the advantages of her privileged background, often referred to as a "nepo baby." In a 2023 interview with Elle magazine, she acknowledged her privilege, stating she was fortunate to have a strong source of advice from her mother. She noted that while her mother joked about not being able to book campaigns for herself, Gerber has had the opportunity to work with people she met through her mother.
