Kaia Gerber, daughter of supermodel Cindy Crawford, stated in a recent interview that she does not believe she resembles her mother, despite frequent comparisons. "In all seriousness, it’s an honor when people tell me I look like my mom," Gerber told Yahoo Entertainment. "I wish I did. I think even on my best days, I’m not even close."

Gerber expressed that she considers it a significant compliment when people draw a parallel between her and Crawford, whom she described as "the most beautiful woman inside and out." The model acknowledged that any perceived resemblance is the "largest compliment."

However, fans have disagreed with Gerber's assessment. Comments on social media platforms, including TikTok, show a divergence of opinion, with many users asserting that Gerber is the "spitting image" of her mother or "Cindy’s twin."

Despite her comments, Gerber appeared strikingly similar to Crawford at a recent red carpet event for "The Shards" in New York City. For the premiere, she wore a beaded Valentino gown, and her styling, including bronzed skin, a smoky eye, and a soft blowout, mirrored Crawford's signature '90s aesthetic. Crawford herself sported a comparable look at the 19th Annual St. Jude Children’s Hospital Benefit Gala in March 1999.

Gerber, whose father is businessman Rande Gerber, stars in the FX series "The Shards." The show also features Homer Gere, the son of Crawford's ex-husband Richard Gere and actress Carey Lowell. Crawford and Richard Gere were married from 1991 to 1995.

In a separate interview with Entertainment Tonight, Gerber shared that Crawford offered advice for her role in "The Shards," which is set in the 1980s. Gerber recalled questioning the authenticity of the era's hairstyles, and her mother confirmed that such elaborate styles were indeed common, even showing photos of herself with similar hair at age 17. Crawford reportedly "loves" all aspects of the show, including its music and wardrobe.
