Kaia Gerber has claimed she underwent a secret exorcism as a child after her mother, Cindy Crawford, told her she was possessed. The model and actress, 24, shared the experience during a recent episode of the "Mitch Churi Chat Show," stating that she attracts "beings from other dimensions in a very casual and chill way."

Gerber recalled that Crawford gave her holy water when she filmed "American Horror Story: Double Feature" in 2021, as the supermodel did not want her daughter to become possessed. "I was told I was possessed as a child," Gerber said, adding that she has "been haunted" her whole life.

She then revealed the details of the exorcism itself. "Do you know how they did the exorcism? They played a didgeridoo all over me, that’s how they did the exorcism," Gerber stated, referring to the ancient wind instrument used by Indigenous Australian cultures. "That actually did happen. I’ve never talked about it, but that actually did happen."

Gerber, the daughter of Crawford and Casamigos co-founder Rande Gerber, is currently promoting her new FX show, "The Shards." The thriller, created by Ryan Murphy and Bret Easton Ellis, is based on Ellis’s 2023 novel of the same name.

"The Shards" also stars Homer Gere, the son of actor Richard Gere. Both Gerber and Homer Gere are connected through their parents, as Crawford and Richard Gere were previously married. Crawford married Rande Gerber in 1998, and they also share a son, Presley, 27. Richard Gere shares Homer with his ex-wife, Carey Lowell.

Homer Gere told Vogue that he and Gerber addressed their parents' past relationship "twenty minutes into knowing each other." He said, "She was like, ‘Yeah. Cool.’ And that was it."

"The Shards" airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET on FX and streams on Hulu.
