Kaia Gerber is drawing comparisons to her supermodel mother, Cindy Crawford, in a striking new campaign for Givenchy's winter 2026 collection. The images, captured in Croatia, echo a famous 1992 photoshoot by Crawford for her "Shape Of Your Body" fitness video.

In the campaign, Gerber, 24, wears a black cut-out bodysuit paired with floral thigh-high boots. The creative director for the campaign is Sarah Burton, who also designed Catherine Middleton's wedding dress.

Despite the visual similarities, Gerber has spoken openly about her body, noting she feels she inherited her physique from her father, businessman Rande Gerber, rather than her mother. "I've always been compared against my mom," Gerber stated. "I'm so jealous of mom's body. I would have loved to be born with boobs and a butt."

Fans have frequently remarked on the resemblance between Gerber and Crawford. However, Gerber has maintained that her own figure is different from her mother's. "My mom is built very differently than I am and she looked so sexy in it," Gerber said, referencing a time she recreated one of Crawford's iconic looks. "She has these beautiful boobs and a butt, and I was given my father’s body, which I’m grateful for, but it’s giving something different."

Gerber has also paid homage to her mother's fashion legacy in other ways. Last year, she replicated a white Hervé Léger bandage dress Crawford wore to the Oscars in 1993 for the premiere of her film "Shell" at the Toronto International Film Festival.

Beyond style, Gerber has absorbed fashion wisdom from her mother. She cited Crawford's appearance in the "Freedom! '90" Versace runway show with fellow supermodels Linda Evangelista, Naomi Campbell, and Christy Turlington as a significant influence. Crawford's advice, "less is more — like, before you leave the house take one thing off," has also resonated with Gerber.

Gerber has even borrowed from her mother's wardrobe, admitting to keeping a black Alaïa coat that she took from Crawford's closet when she was 15. She noted that while she and her mother are not the same shoe size, she cherishes the borrowed pieces.
