Kaia Gerber drew comparisons to her mother, Cindy Crawford, at the Los Angeles premiere of the FX series “The Shards.” The 24-year-old actress appeared at an '80s-themed skate night event for the show, opting for a striking Gucci outfit that echoed a look her supermodel mother wore in 1996.

Gerber's ensemble featured a black crêpe bralette top paired with a matching maxi skirt. The skirt's sheer quality offered a glimpse of her high-waisted briefs underneath. She completed the look with loose waves in her hair, skinny eyebrows, and matte eyeshadow, channeling a '90s aesthetic.

This outfit bore a notable resemblance to the black crop top and high-waisted trousers Cindy Crawford wore to the premiere of the film “Striptease” in 1996, when Crawford was 30 years old. Gerber, whose style has increasingly been compared to her mother's, has worn several all-black outfits promoting “The Shards.” Earlier in the press tour, she wore a sheer ruffled gown in London and a black slip dress that evoked Carolyn Bessette Kennedy's iconic "Love Story" dress.

Despite the frequent comparisons, Gerber has expressed that she doesn't see the resemblance. "In all seriousness, it’s an honor when people tell me I look like my mom," she told Yahoo Entertainment recently. "I wish I did. I think even on my best days, I’m not even close."

“The Shards,” which is set in 1981 Los Angeles, premiered on FX and Hulu on Wednesday.
