Kaia Gerber attended the world premiere of Ryan Murphy's FX series "The Shards" in New York City, drawing comparisons to her mother, supermodel Cindy Crawford, with her choice of attire. The 24-year-old appeared on the red carpet in a floor-length Valentino column gown adorned with beads and crystals.

The sheer, diamond-patterned dress featured delicate spaghetti straps. Gerber accessorized with diamond stud earrings and a prominent cocktail ring. Her makeup and hairstyle mirrored Crawford's signature '90s look, with bronzed skin, a smoky brown eye, a glossy nude lip, and a soft blowout.

Adding to the evening's retro feel, Gerber was joined on the red carpet by co-star Homer Gere, the 26-year-old son of Cindy Crawford's ex-husband, Richard Gere. Crawford and Richard Gere were married from 1991 to 1995.

Gerber, who plays Susan Reynolds in the series set in 1981, commented on her co-star to the Associated Press, stating that she and Gere had not met before filming. "He has this confidence and this charisma. He's so magnetic to watch," Gerber said of Gere, who portrays an enigmatic new student named Robert Mallory.

Crawford herself was present at the premiere held at the SVA Theatre and later attended an after-party at El Quijote. For the after-party, Gerber changed into a black Norma Kamali gown, a form-fitting style with sheer straps and an open back.

"The Shards" is scheduled to premiere on Aug. 5 on FX and Hulu.
