The K-pop group KATSEYE kicked off their "Wildworld" arena tour in Dublin, Ireland, on September 1, facing a mix of fan praise and concern. The concert, which sold out an arena filled with a predominantly young audience, featured four of the group's six members performing for nearly two hours. One notable moment involved member Daniela Avanzini twerking on stage.

However, concerns arose regarding member Megan Skiendiel's performance. Skiendiel, who had a sprained ankle just last week, which led to the cancellation of a festival performance, executed complicated choreography, including in thigh-high boots. Fans expressed worry about her condition, questioning the speed of her recovery and the potential for further injury during the demanding tour schedule. "Megan performing on an injured ankle. Won't last long for the remaining tour!" one fan commented, while another noted that such "lifts" on a tour increase the risk of injury. Many fans were worried to see Megan Skiendiel performing with a sprained ankle

Some audience members also commented on the group's outfits, with one fan quipping that "their clothes are on hiatus," referencing the revealing nature of their stage costumes. This is not the first time KATSEYE's attire has drawn attention; a recent performance on the "Today" show also sparked controversy due to their "risque outfits" and "suggestive" dancing, which some viewers found inappropriate for younger audiences.

Despite these fan concerns, many praised the concert. One parent described it as "incredible" and the "number one position" among concerts they had attended. The "Wildworld" tour is scheduled to continue in London, across Europe, and then move to North America and Mexico. The group raised eyebrows among fans due to their rigorous choreography, with some fans fearing that they may get injured

KATSEYE is currently operating with four members: Megan Skiendiel, Daniela Avanzini, Lara Raj, and Yoonchae Jeung. Two members are on hiatus: Manon Bannerman has been on extended leave for health reasons since February 20, and Sophia Laforteza began her hiatus on August 7 to focus on personal health and wellness. Laforteza has confirmed she will not be participating in the European leg of the tour. Her mother stated that Laforteza is focusing on "getting mentally well" and has been seen at Disneyland. Despite losing two members, KATSEYE managed to defy the odds by successfully launching their world tour in Dublin, Ireland on Tuesday

Despite the lineup changes, KATSEYE's recent EP, "Wild," debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, selling 170,000 copies and marking the biggest US debut for a girl group since Danity Kane in 2008. The EP's songs, including "Animal" and "Hootie Frutti," have charted on the Hot 100. The Los Angeles-based group was formed in 2023 through the reality competition series "Dream Academy." Their hit song "Gabriela" reached No. 21 on the Billboard Hot 100 and received a Grammy nomination for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, though they lost to Olivia Dean in the Best New Artist category. Last month, KATSEYE came under fire from some viewers of the Today show after delivering a wild performance of their new single 'Hootie Frutti' in risque outfits
