Justin Baldoni is facing a fresh harassment allegation as his high-profile legal battle with Blake Lively continues to wind through the courts.
Court documents obtained by Page Six and filed Monday include a redacted complaint from a person who says they experienced “repeated, negative interactions with Mr. Baldoni and his associates, including verbal abuse by Mr. Baldoni.” The filing asserts the individual was not permitted on set for most of production because of those experiences and requested that the director not be involved in marketing or public relations efforts.
The new filing was first reported by TMZ, which said the accuser is expected to testify in Blake Lively’s sexual harassment case against Baldoni. Lively filed a lawsuit in December accusing Baldoni of sexual harassment on the set of the film It Ends With Us. Baldoni, 41, has denied the allegations.
In January, Baldoni filed a $400 million lawsuit against Lively, her husband Ryan Reynolds and their publicist, alleging defamation, extortion and other claims. Those claims were dismissed by a judge in June. Court papers filed Monday show Lively has asked the court to order Baldoni to pay her legal fees and to award treble and punitive damages related to what she described as a “baseless” defamation suit.
The dispute has generated multiple related filings and exchanges. In May, singer Taylor Swift was issued a subpoena to appear as a witness in the litigation; Baldoni later dropped the subpoena. A source told People at the time that Lively’s friendship with Swift had effectively halted as a result of the dispute, but the source said Swift wanted no part of the controversy. Baldoni also faced separate harassment allegations from actress Isabela Ferrer, who said she had been harassed for information after receiving a subpoena tied to the Lively case. Baldoni’s legal team countered that they had reached out to Ferrer’s attorneys twice to communicate about the subpoena and were ignored.
A trial on Lively’s sexual harassment claim against Baldoni is scheduled for March 2026 in New York. The newly filed harassment assertion identifies an additional potential witness and adds detail to a record that already includes mutual lawsuits, subpoenas and contested communications. In his defamation suit, Baldoni submitted text messages he said were from Lively discussing her then-friend Taylor Swift; one alleged message referred to "dragons" who "protect those I fight for." Lively has denied engaging in extortion and has characterized Baldoni’s lawsuit as without merit.
Page Six reported the new filing and said it obtained the court documents; TMZ initially reported the accuser’s expected role as a witness. Representatives for Lively and Baldoni did not immediately respond to requests for comment, according to Page Six.
Legal advocates and entertainment industry figures have noted that harassment and defamation claims often produce extensive pretrial discovery and witness filings, which can expand as parties seek evidence and testimony. The development of additional allegations and witness statements in this matter will be part of pretrial preparations for both sides.
As the case moves toward the scheduled March 2026 trial, the filings illustrate how the dispute has extended beyond the initial sexual harassment allegation to encompass counterclaims, motions for fees and multiple third-party subpoenas. Courts will determine which claims proceed to trial and which, if any, will be dismissed or subject to sanctions.
For now, the parties remain in litigation. The contested filings, including the newly disclosed harassment allegation, are part of a public record that will be considered by the court as it assesses the merits of each side’s claims and defenses ahead of the March trial date.
