Juno Temple, known for her role as Keeley Jones in the Apple TV+ series "Ted Lasso," displayed her wedding ring at a Variety x Apple TV's "Ted Lasso" Q&A event in New York on Wednesday. The actress, 37, had revealed earlier in the week that she had secretly married her long-term boyfriend, Michal Szymanski.
Temple posed on the red carpet at the event, held at Quality Italian, showcasing a diamond ring on her left hand. She was dressed in a pink corset minidress with a sheer pleated skirt and cutouts at the waist, paired with silver sequin platform heels, a pendant choker necklace, and a football-themed handbag.
Temple confirmed her marriage, stating she met Szymanski during the filming of the second season of "Ted Lasso." Her "Ted Lasso" co-star Hannah Waddingham, who plays Rebecca Welton, revealed she played a role in connecting the couple. Waddingham explained that Szymanski was her driver and that Temple asked Waddingham to arrange a date with him.
"She said, 'Can I ask him on a date?' I said, 'Yes you can.' He was my driver," Waddingham recounted. "They are the greatest oxygen to each other in the universe."
Temple added that she and Szymanski had a system to meet, with Waddingham's appointments sometimes running over to facilitate their encounters. The couple publicly confirmed their relationship in May 2022 at the UK premiere of "Top Gun: Maverick." Since then, they have appeared together at several events, including the Emmy Awards and the Vanity Fair Oscar Party.
Temple and Szymanski have also purchased a house together. "Ted Lasso" is currently airing its fourth season, which premiered on August 5 and follows Ted's return to Richmond to coach a second-division women's football team.
Temple has had a notable career in film and television, beginning with roles in "St Trinian's" and "Wild Child." She also appeared in "The Other Boleyn Girl," "Maleficent," and earned an EE Rising Star Award in 2013. More recently, she has featured in the Paramount+ series "The Offer" and the fifth season of "Fargo."
