Julia Roberts was seen out in New York City with her 21-year-old son, Phinnaeus, on Thursday. The actress, 58, and Phinnaeus, whom she shares with husband Danny Moder, kept their outing casual as they walked through the city, with Roberts' arm linked through her son's at one point.
Roberts wore jean shorts, a blue blouse, and sneakers, accessorizing with black sunglasses and a burgundy crossbody bag. Her hair was pulled back. Phinnaeus wore green shorts, a blue t-shirt, striped socks, and green loafers, also opting for dark sunglasses and at one point sporting a baseball cap. He is noted to be taller than his mother.
Earlier in the month, Roberts was seen with her younger son, Henry, 19, a day after his birthday. During that outing, Henry also towered over his mother. Roberts and Moder's daughter, Hazel, who is Phinnaeus' twin and is also 21, was in attendance at that earlier event.
Roberts and Moder, a cinematographer, married in 2002 and have largely kept their family life private. In a 2022 interview with CBS Sunday Mornings, Roberts spoke about motherhood, describing the life she has built with her husband and children as "the best stuff." She also stated that being a "homemaker" is her "full-time job" when she is not working as an actress.
In November, Roberts shared a throwback photo of her twins, Hazel and Phinnaeus, to celebrate their 21st birthday, calling them "game changers, life alterers, [heart] expanders." She wrote, "These game changers, life alterers, [heart] expanders once were 1 and now are 21! That was fast."
