Actress Julia Garner and musician Mark Foster have reportedly divorced after six years of marriage. Sources have confirmed the end of the couple's union to People, according to reports.
Speculation about the split began last month when Garner, 32, was seen without her wedding ring on the set of the Amazon MGM Studios thriller 'Tyrant' in New York. Garner is currently filming the project alongside Charlize Theron and Demi Moore.
The couple, who largely kept their relationship private, were last seen together in October of the previous year at an after-party for Vogue World. Foster, 42, is the frontman and keyboardist for the band Foster the People.
Garner and Foster became engaged in April 2019, having dated for 10 months. Foster proposed to Garner at Flathead Lake, presenting her with a poem he had written. The couple married in New York City in December of that same year. They celebrated their union with friends and family at Locanda Verde, followed by a reception at the Public Hotel where Foster performed a new song for Garner titled 'Lovers In A Stream.'
Garner is widely recognized for her roles as Ruth Langmore in the Netflix crime drama 'Ozark' and as Anna Delvey in the Netflix series 'Inventing Anna.' She has also been nominated for a Critics Choice Super Award for Best Actress in a Superhero Movie for her role in 'The Fantastic Four: First Step.'
Earlier in her career, Garner admitted to experiencing a challenging period before her breakthrough role in 'Ozark.' She described a year at age 21 where she struggled to find acting work, leading her to consider other career paths. Garner told Vanity Fair that the difficulties reinforced her determination to succeed in acting, stating she felt she was "somewhat decent at acting" and that "this acting thing better work out."
