Julia Fox turned heads on the red carpet at the Los Angeles premiere of the film ‘Him’ at TCL Chinese Theatre, wearing a black-and-white polka-dotted corset dress by Erik Charlotte. The 35-year-old actress walked the carpet with her 4-year-old son, Valentino, who attended in a football-inspired outfit befitting the film’s premise.

Her ensemble featured a bust-baring corset, a gathered pencil skirt, knee-high stockings, cap-toe pumps and a padded bustle-like detail, all topped with a flamboyant hat that carried a pink ostrich feather. The look meshed drama and intrigue, and Fox styled her chocolate-brown hair in Regency-era ringlets to complement the vintage-inspired makeup: pencil-thin eyebrows, glittery doe eyes and pouty pink lips.

Julia Fox made dramatic statement

Valentino accompanied Fox to the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, where he wore a football-inspired outfit that echoed the film’s premise. Fox’s fashion history is characterized by boundary-pushing choices, a trait she has cultivated since growing up between Milan and New York City. She shares Valentino with her former husband, entrepreneur Peter Artemiev.

Erik Charlotte, a Los Angeles–based designer, provided the polka-dotted look, which has become a hallmark of Fox’s public appearances whenever she leans into statement-making style. In addition to her on-screen work, Fox has discussed her evolving views on beauty and self-expression.

Fox has spoken about cosmetic procedures in the past, including rhinoplasty, liposuction and veneers—procedures she later described as regrets. In an interview with Allure for the August 2025 issue, she said she would like to return to a more natural look and reflected on how her early focus on being attractive to men shaped her choices.

Whether Fox will continue to push fashion boundaries in future projects remains to be seen, but her Los Angeles premiere appearance underscores her role as a provocateur in culture and entertainment.
