Singer Joss Stone experienced an emotional homecoming to the United Kingdom over the weekend, reuniting with her husband and four young children after completing a tour in Europe. A video shared on her Instagram captured the moment she was greeted at the airport.

Her eldest son, Shackleton, aged two, and daughter Violet, aged three, were among the first to embrace her. Stone also shared hugs and kisses with her husband, Cody DaLuz, and their two youngest children, who were in a double buggy.

Stone, 38, and DaLuz, a former Marine, are parents to Shackleton, Violet, and their adopted son Bear, who was adopted as a newborn at the end of 2024. The singer announced her pregnancy shortly after Bear's adoption, giving birth to their daughter Nalima Rose in June 2025. In 2023, Stone had expressed her desire to expand their family further through adoption, telling HELLO! magazine that they were in the process of a home study and hoped to adopt more children.

"We're trying to do our home study. I hope we get to do it. I want, like, 25 kids," she stated. DaLuz himself was adopted, and Stone has previously spoken about the profound love of birth mothers who make adoption plans, calling it a "selfless love."

The family has relocated back to Devon, Stone's home county in the UK. They had previously lived in Nashville, Tennessee, after meeting in 2020. Stone had left the UK in 2011 amid a terrifying kidnap plot, which led her to feel unsafe in her childhood home. Two men were apprehended near her home at the time with weapons and a body bag, having planned to rob and kill the then-24-year-old singer. They were later convicted of conspiracy to murder and robbery.

Speaking about the incident more than a decade later, Stone said she no longer lives in fear and expressed hope that her would-be attackers have found peace. She reflected on the trauma but noted the plot was foiled. "I feel like something's watching over me. I feel very looked after in that scenario," she said.

The ordeal prompted her to leave Britain for a new life in the United States, first in New Jersey and later in Nashville. However, she decided to return to the UK so her children could be schooled and raised in a similar environment to her own childhood. "I woke up one morning in that place and I said to Cody, 'I don't want to come back here ever.' And we never did," she recalled of her decision to leave her childhood home after the kidnap plot.
