Josie Gibson, a presenter on the ITV show 'This Morning', has announced she is ready to pursue a new relationship and expand her family, including fostering children, following a series of cosmetic procedures. Gibson, 41, recently underwent liposuction on her arms and calves, a process costing approximately £7,000, to address her battle with lipoedema.
Gibson has been single for several years, dedicating her focus to raising her seven-year-old son, Reggie. She expressed a desire to find a partner with whom she can settle down and achieve her ambition of having a larger family. "If I'd met the right man, I probably would have had about 10 [children]. I would love to foster," she stated. The presenter has reportedly received numerous messages on Instagram that have made her feel flattered.
A source told Closer magazine that Gibson feels she looks good in her underwear and has purchased matching lingerie, suggesting it would be a "shame to have it go to waste." The source added that Gibson is feeling confident and like her "pin-up best," and is seeking a "real man's man" to be "swept off her feet" with passion.
Medical Journey and Recovery
Gibson revealed in March that she had undergone a brachioplasty, a procedure to remove excess skin and fat from the upper arm, involving the removal of 45% of the skin from her arm. Lipoedema is a medical condition characterized by the abnormal, symmetrical accumulation of adipose tissue, often affecting the legs, buttocks, hips, and arms. Gibson explained that it is a condition where the body retains fat, leading to swelling that cannot be entirely managed through exercise alone.
She recounted experiencing significant swelling, particularly in her legs, which often necessitated the use of compression garments. "And if I hadn't got hold of it now, it would have got worse," she commented on the condition.
Following her surgeries, Gibson has engaged in a comprehensive wellness regimen to aid her recovery. This has included renting a hyperbaric oxygen chamber, which she described as pricey at £500 per month, to promote healing through increased oxygen levels. She also shared that she has been incorporating lymphatic drainage treatments and has been actively learning about the lymphatic system. Additionally, she uses NAD+ and glutathione injectables, which are noted for their anti-aging properties and support for post-operative healing. Gibson has also constructed her own copper pyramid triangle, a tool sometimes used for meditation and energy healing.
Gibson has also focused on at-home fitness, purchasing a treadmill and creating circuit routines. She supplements her diet with collagen and electrolytes.

Gibson's public life has included several past relationships. These include her relationship with John James Parton, a fellow contestant from her time on 'Big Brother' in 2010, her ex-fiancé Luke Sanwo, and Terry, Reggie's father. Earlier this year, she was photographed with social media personality Sam Wolfenden while presenting 'This Morning' together, sparking speculation about a potential romance. However, it has since been reported that Wolfenden is engaged to his childhood sweetheart, Grace Richardson.
