Former Nickelodeon star Josh Peck has shared details about his earnings from the hit show "Drake & Josh," revealing that he and co-star Drake Bell each made an average of $15,000 per episode.

Peck, who starred as Josh Nichols on the sitcom from 2004 to 2007, appeared on the "Financial Tea with Mrs. Dow Jones" podcast where he discussed his salary. Over the show's four seasons and 60 episodes, the total earnings for the two lead actors amounted to approximately $900,000. However, Peck clarified that after expenses such as agent and manager fees, as well as taxes, their take-home pay was closer to half of that figure.

"We were making about $125,000 a year," Peck stated on the podcast. He added that the experience instilled in him a deep-seated financial insecurity, driving him to continue working.

"Drake & Josh" centered on the lives of two stepbrothers, played by Peck and Drake Bell. The series was a ratings success for Nickelodeon, with its premiere episode drawing 3.2 million viewers. The show concluded its run in September 2007, followed by a one-time special in 2008.

Peck's revelations come two years after his former co-star, Drake Bell, publicly shared his experience of being sexually abused as a teenager by dialogue coach Brian Peck. Bell detailed this abuse in the 2024 docuseries "Quiet On Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV." Brian Peck, who is not related to Josh Peck, pleaded no contest to the charges and was sentenced to 16 months in prison and ordered to register as a sex offender.

Bell has since spoken about the support he received following the docuseries premiere, noting the outpouring of fan stories and encouragement. He and Josh Peck have also reportedly discussed the possibility of a "Drake & Josh" reboot.
