Johnny Depp and Paul Whitehouse, who first collaborated on the iconic "Suits You, Sir!" sketch from The Fast Show in 2000, reunited on Wednesday night. The impromptu revival took place backstage at London's O2 arena, where Depp was performing with his band, Hollywood Vampires.

It has been 26 years since Depp's memorable cameo on the BBC sketch show, which originally aired between 1994 and 1997. His appearance was in the show's 2000 farewell special. Depp has previously called the cameo "Fast Show" cameo "my proudest achievement" and referred to Whitehouse as "the greatest actor in the world."

During their reunion, Depp and Whitehouse were captured on video launching into a rendition of their famous catchphrase, "Oh suits you, sir." The clip, shared by Whitehouse's wife, Dr. Mine Conkbayir, showed the two with their arms around each other, with Whitehouse puckering up for a kiss. Conkbayir captioned the video: "26 years later and saucier than ever! Suit You Sirs! The @hollywoodvampires were f**king phenomenal! @johnnydepp - we love yooooooou! ❤️"

Fans reacted enthusiastically to the reunion, with some calling it "the reunion we've always needed" and others suggesting Depp would be a fitting guest on Whitehouse's show "Mortimer and Whitehouse: Gone Fishing." Some even called for a "Fast Show" reboot starring Depp.

Depp and Whitehouse have a history of collaboration beyond the original sketch. Whitehouse made a cameo appearance in Depp's 2015 film "Mortdecai" and also appeared in the 2016 film "Alice Through the Looking Glass." Whitehouse recalled in 2015 that Depp had always championed his work, stating, "Johnny said I was the finest actor of all time." Depp has expressed his willingness to return for another "Fast Show" appearance, calling it "the funniest thing I've ever seen on television."
