John Cena is continuing his hair transplant journey, recently undergoing the second phase of his follicular unit extraction (FUE) procedure. The 49-year-old actor and WWE star shared an update on social media Monday, revealing a newly shaved head as he posed with Dr. Ken Anderson. "Round 2 of FUE treatment and this time I went all in for best possible results," Cena captioned the post, thanking Dr. Anderson and the staff at the Anderson Center for Hair for their support.

Dr. Anderson reciprocated the sentiment, stating, "Always great seeing you, my friend. Your commitment to the process and long-term hair health has made all the difference. I'm grateful for the trust you've placed in me and my team, and honored to be part of your journey."

Cena's decision to pursue surgical hair restoration was influenced by comments from wrestling fans regarding his thinning hair. He previously underwent his first hair transplant in November 2024, after enduring what he described as "bullying" from fans who displayed signs mocking his hair loss. In an interview with The Pat McAfee Show last April, Cena referred to the experience as "straight-up bullying" and expressed his dislike for such treatment, humorously noting that fan pressure had pushed him towards the procedure.

Cena referred to his hair loss as a "genetic condition I can't control." This latest procedure follows his first FUE treatment, undertaken after fans' taunts. He also noted that his hair loss is a genetic condition beyond his control.

In his professional life, Cena currently stars in the Netflix comedy "Little Brother," which has reached the number one spot on the platform. He also has several films in development, including "Coyote vs. Acme," "Matchbox: The Movie," and "One Attempt Remaining."

Cena recently concluded his professional wrestling career with a final match against Gunther at WWE's Saturday Night's Main Event. While he continues to work with WWE as a host, he has not ruled out a return to the ring for the right financial offer, stating in a previous interview that "'Never' is a strong word" and that it would require significant financial incentive for him to compete again.
