Joey Graziadei and Kelsey Anderson said they will not broadcast their wedding on television, telling People the couple intends to keep the ceremony private and intimate while offering only occasional social-media glimpses to fans.
"That's our non-negotiable. We're not going to do it on-air," Anderson, 27, said, three months after discussing wedding plans in an interview with DailyMail.com. Graziadei, 30, agreed, saying he has "nothing against" televised weddings but wants a smaller celebration the couple can "shape" and enjoy "in our own way and own time."
Graziadei said the pair have already shared the start of their relationship and their engagement on television, and that this wedding will be "for us." Anderson added that while they will show "little glimpses" via social media so fans can feel part of the day, the core ceremony will be private.
The couple confirmed planning is underway but declined to give a date, saying they are keeping the timing private. "Things are coming. I feel like we always get a little scared to give too much away," Graziadei said. "When we're ready to announce exactly when we definitely will. But yeah, it's definitely starting to take bigger steps, and we're excited about that."
Graziadei proposed to Anderson during the finale of The Bachelor’s 28th season, which aired in March 2024. He later won season 33 of Dancing with the Stars and was the runner-up on season 20 of The Bachelorette.
The couple also discussed wedding "non-negotiables." Graziadei said his priority is Anderson's happiness: "My non-negotiable is Kelsey staying happy. So whatever she wants for the wedding is what we're going to do." Both said they had not extensively planned weddings before their engagement and described the process as a new, shared experience.
Reality television has often turned nuptials into televised events, but Graziadei and Anderson join a number of recent public figures who have opted for private ceremonies while maintaining a public profile online. The couple indicated they will strike a balance between privacy and fan engagement, allowing select images and moments to appear on their social channels without turning the ceremony into a live broadcast.
They did not provide a guest list, venue or additional logistical details, saying only that they will announce specifics when they are ready. Their decision follows months of public attention since the televised engagement and candid interviews about their relationship and future plans.
As they move forward with planning, Graziadei and Anderson said they intend to make joint decisions on style and scale. "We both actually — funny enough as we talked about it — realized that we both haven't put a lot of thought or planning into either of our weddings," Graziadei said. "So this is kind of the fun part as we're all learning it together and yeah, we're going to make our dream wedding as a couple, which is exciting."
The couple's announcement closes a chapter on televised milestones from their relationship while leaving open limited, curated access for followers through social media updates. They did not set a date for the ceremony and said they will reveal the timing when they are ready.
