Jodie Sweetin, known for her role as Stephanie Tanner in the sitcom "Full House," has shared an unconventional sleeping arrangement with her husband, Mescal Wasilewski. The actress revealed on the "Good Guys" podcast that the couple sleeps in two twin beds pushed together to form a king-size bed, each with their own duvet.
Sweetin, 46, explained that this setup is crucial for their sleep quality, as it prevents them from fighting over blankets. "I can roll over and wrap myself up like a burrito, he can do whatever, and we’re not fighting over it in the middle of the night. So no one wakes up angry that they’re cold," she said.
She elaborated that while she can sleep soundly, Wasilewski is a very light sleeper. "My husband is the lightest, worst sleeper. Once I’m out – takes me a minute to go out – and once I’m out, I’m dead to the world," Sweetin stated, contrasting his sensitivity to noise with her own ability to sleep through disturbances. "There could be bombs going off, and nothing. [Meanwhile], a mouse whispers downstairs and [my husband is] like, "Oh my god! I heard it."".
Sweetin, who married Wasilewski in July 2022, also discussed their ideal future living situation, which involves owning property with multiple small, independent homes. "He gets his tiny home, I get my tiny home, and then there’s the middle one," she described.
This is Sweetin's fourth marriage. She was previously married to Shaun Holguin, Cody Herpin, and Morty Coyle. She has two daughters, Zoie and Beatrix, from previous relationships. The actress has been open about her past struggles with drug addiction, noting that while her early fame presented public challenges, it also provided access to treatment.
