Jodie Marsh announced she is single and "looking for true love" in a candid Instagram post that said previous partners were drawn to her lifestyle, fame and money rather than the "real" her.

In a weekend post framed as a dating advertisement, the 46-year-old reality star and former Page Three model described herself as "positive and happy," a capable cook, "a bit of a geek," an avid reader and someone who prefers animals to people. She wrote: "I've never really had a man care about the REAL me. They all just want the lifestyle, the glamour, the fame, the money. I'm real and authentic and I make people's lives better on a daily basis. I'm looking for true love."

Marsh, who has appeared on Celebrity Big Brother and competed as a bodybuilder, added a lighthearted line to the post inviting prospective suitors to "Apply here." The post also referenced personal ambitions: she said she wanted to buy a castle with 1,000 acres and rescue lions and tigers.

The Instagram message follows a string of public relationship breakups. Marsh split from a boyfriend identified as a builder, Mark, in March 2024; she previously ended a relationship with Elvis impersonator Billy Collins in May 2022 after saying she discovered he had been unfaithful. In her post she characterised some past relationships as having been with men who sought the trappings of her celebrity rather than a deeper connection.

In recent years Marsh has shifted from the glamour modelling and television world into rural life. She runs an animal sanctuary in Great Dunmow, Essex, and has documented aspects of that life on social media. Last week she posted a video teasing a new hairstyle, cheekily captioned "new hair, who dis," then revealed the change was a clip-in fringe and that she had not actually cut her hair.

Marsh's public profile stretches back to her Page Three modelling and includes reality television and competitive bodybuilding, a period during which she at times showcased significant muscular development. In social posts she has also discussed health measures she uses to manage pain and anxiety, including CBD oil, and has framed recent years as a personal reinvention away from a previously more glamorous lifestyle.

Marsh's Instagram announcement was posted over the weekend ahead of media coverage Monday, Sept. 8, 2025. She invited messages from potential partners in the post and emphasised qualities she values, writing that she prizes "loyalty, honesty and truthfulness."
