Joanna Gaines recently shared a video tour of her attic on Instagram, humorously labeling the cluttered space as a "hoarder" problem. The "Fixer Upper" host, who has 13.6 million followers, showed her fans an array of items accumulated over the years, including remnants from her early career and practical necessities.

Gaines explained that facing the attic's contents was prompted by a day of filming rooms in her house. "I'm very proud of my attic," she stated sarcastically before delving into the collection. She described the tour as a "walk down memory lane," highlighting sentimental objects and unexpected finds.

Among the items revealed was a cake stand crafted from layered plates and teacups, which Gaines recalled selling at her small shop on Bosque around 2005. "This was the stuff I would sell," she noted, referring to it as a "big seller at Magnolia, circa 2005."

She also unearthed a thick orthopedic boot, jokingly remarking on its potential utility with five children. "This, just in case. When you have five kids, you never know when you're going to need the boot," she quipped. A thick, padded orthopedic boot was among the items found in the attic. A long brown wig was another item pulled from the clutter, which Gaines put on her head, humorously stating it was from her "first collection of wigs." She added, "Actually, I have no idea why there is a wig up here, but I promise it's not mine." Joanna Gaines tried on a long brown wig found in her attic.

Gaines, 48, and her husband Chip Gaines, 51, are parents to five children: Drake, 21; Duke, 18; Emmie, 16; Ella, 19; and Crew, eight. Joanna and Chip Gaines with their five children.

Concluding the tour, Gaines advised her followers to manage their attic spaces, admitting to feeling regret over some past choices. "I'm on my own today, guys, and I'm feeling sick to my stomach, and I'm regretting some choices," she said. "And I'm also here to say, clean your attics, folks. It's summertime."

Fans responded positively in the comments, with many expressing that they relate to Gaines's struggles with clutter. "I am laughing and can totally relate, as my attic is full, too," one follower wrote. Others found the attic contents charming, describing it as a "warehouse full of antiques" and an "attic of treasures."
