Jey Uso’s wife, Takecia Fatu, has filed for divorce, seeking to end their 12-year marriage. The divorce petition was filed in Fayette County, Georgia, on June 24, according to court records.

In her filing, Takecia Fatu stated that the marriage is "irretrievably broken" with no prospects for reconciliation and that the couple is "presently living in a bona fide state of separation." The couple, whose real name is Joshua Fatu, were married on February 13, 2014.

Takecia Fatu is requesting primary physical and joint legal custody of their teenage son, Jeyce. She is also seeking alimony and exclusive use of the couple's Georgia mansion. The two reportedly began dating in high school in Florida in the early 2000s.

In a 2020 "WWE Chronicle" documentary, Jey Uso referred to Takecia as his "life partner," expressing deep love and respect for her. He acknowledged her support through the challenges of his career, stating, "All my success is her success, too. We’ve done this together."
