Jesy Nelson is reportedly dating Ben Davies, the ex-boyfriend of television personality Lydia Bright. Nelson, 35, shared a photograph on her Instagram Stories over the weekend that appeared to show a new man during a dinner date. The image featured a tattooed arm on the left side of the frame as the pair were seen enjoying drinks.
Davies is described as a landscape gardener from Essex and previously dated Bright, an original cast member of the reality show "The Only Way Is Essex," for approximately one year in 2024. Nelson and Davies have reportedly been following each other on Instagram in recent weeks, preceding Nelson's social media post.
Bright and Davies's relationship was confirmed in April 2024, but by January 2025, Bright had announced she was single. This news comes after Nelson's separation from her former partner, musician Zion Foster, earlier this year. Nelson and Foster share twin daughters, Ocean Jade and Story Monroe, who were diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) Type 1.
The diagnosis and its impact on Nelson and Foster were documented in the Amazon Prime series "Jesy Nelson: Life Changing." In the series, Foster expressed his struggles with the diagnosis, stating he felt "out of my depth" emotionally, physically, and mentally. Nelson also spoke about the challenges, noting the difficulty of their situation and her eventual decision to end their relationship, believing they would be better apart.
Foster later addressed public reaction to his comments, clarifying on Instagram that being "out of my depth" referred to learning about the rare medical condition and not abandoning his responsibilities as a father. He emphasized his love for his daughters and his commitment to them.
Nelson stated in the docuseries that she and Foster were handling the situation differently, leading to clashes. She described their split as "inevitable" due to the trauma they experienced, adding that her primary focus is on her daughters and maintaining positive energy at home.
