Jessica Simpson recently shared photos from her birthday trip to the Turks and Caicos Islands, offering followers a glimpse of her vacation.
Among the images posted to Instagram was a black-and-white photograph of Simpson in a bikini with small white polka dots, lounging on a chair. She accessorized with black sunglasses and a necklace. Simpson captioned the post, "Take me back to Turks and Caicos." She also thanked her hosts, @lacurevillas and @pavilionluxuryvillas, for the "unforgettable stay."
The vacation photos also included shots of Simpson in a black dress in front of a pool, posing with staff members, and emerging from the ocean in a black bikini and cover-up. A video showcasing the surrounding ocean scenery was also part of the post.
Fans reacted positively to the images, with one commenter writing, "You have never looked better!! Healthy and happy and stunning!" Another follower commented, "Absolutely stunning as always."
Simpson, who turned 46 on July 10, previously shared a photo in a similar black-and-white polka dot bikini on her birthday.
In November 2025, Simpson marked eight years of sobriety, reflecting on her journey in an Instagram post. She stated that choosing sobriety allowed her "to fully live in the pursuit of Gods [sic] purpose for my life," adding that alcohol had "silenced my intuition, blocked my dreams and chased my circulating fears of complacency." She described herself as "clear" and "driven by faith" after eight years of sobriety, emphasizing that she found her strength not in fighting but in surrender.
Simpson had previously revealed that she stopped drinking the day after Halloween in 2017. In a November 2023 post, she shared a photo from that day, describing the person in the image as "an unrecognizable version of myself" who had "so much self-discovery to unlock and explore." She explained that quitting alcohol was necessary for her to "take back my light, show victory over my internal battle of self-respect, and brave this world with piercing clarity." Simpson noted that she needed to stop drinking because it kept her "mind and heart circling in the same direction" and that she was "exhausted." She expressed a desire to "feel the pain so I could carry it like a badge of honor" and to "live as a leader does and break cycles to advance forward – never looking back with regret and remorse."
Simpson also addressed the stigma surrounding alcoholism, stating that she needed to accept "failure, pain, brokenness, and self sabotage" in her life. She concluded that "the drinking wasn’t the issue. I was. I didn’t love myself. I didn’t respect my own power. Today I do."
