Jessica Alba and her eldest daughter, Honor, commemorated the teen's upcoming departure for college with matching tattoos. The mother-daughter duo, who share a close bond, opted for matching eye and infinity symbol designs inked on their wrists.
The 18-year-old Honor, who is set to begin her studies at Yale University this fall, shared a glimpse of the new ink on Instagram in July. She captioned the photo of herself and Alba holding hands, "Me x Mama ♾️♾️♾️."
Tattoo artist Daniel “Winterstone” Winter, known for his delicate designs, posted a close-up of the artwork days later, calling it "a way to show love with an unforgettable experience!" He noted that Alba and Honor had created "a memory they will share forever."
Alba, 45, has previously marked significant life events with tattoos. In 2019, she got tattoos of her younger children's astrological signs on her arm, calling them "my babies." Following her divorce from ex-husband Cash Warren, with whom she co-parents Honor, daughter Haven (15), and son Hayes (8), Alba also got a phoenix tattoo and the phrase "life is transformation is life."
