Jerry Hall is preparing to celebrate her 70th birthday on July 2 with a garden party for 200 friends and family at her Henley home. Despite the milestone, Hall maintains she doesn't "really feel 70" and continues to embrace life with a spirit she describes as unapologetic.

As a grandmother of three, Hall still graces the covers of Vogue and attributes her youthful appearance to a combination of an organic diet, an enduring passion for fashion, and a daily routine that includes wine and cigarettes. She humorously notes her refusal to set foot in a gym.

Hall's philosophy, as shared by her model daughter Lizzie, centers on beauty originating from within. This mantra informs her approach to both her personal style and her skincare. The fashion icon expresses disdain for the stereotype of older women dressing in muted tones and favoring unflattering footwear. "I think it's fun to be able to dress in a way that looks good on your figure," she stated, adding, "I'm very lucky I didn't lose my figure. So I think I should be able to wear anything."

Her preferred shopping destinations include Vivienne Westwood and Liberty's in London. Hall relies on her daughters, Lizzie, 42, and Georgia May, 34, for guidance on age-appropriate dressing, aiming to "still dress glamorously but not like my daughters."

Her skincare routine is notably simple, eschewing elaborate products for a basic regimen of face wash and face cream. Hall favors natural products and avoids items marketed as "anti-aging," finding such labels insulting. She has long used raw coconut oil for her hair and advocates for embracing natural hair as one ages, rejecting the notion of a mandatory short, gray haircut.

Hall's holistic approach extends to her health. She has expressed a skepticism towards conventional medicine, stating, "I don't go to the doctor. Never! I think medicine's bad for you." Instead, she has been a proponent of Ayurvedic medicine for over 30 years, visiting a practitioner twice a year for pulse checks, herbal remedies, and dietary advice to "balance my system."

She has also spoken out against the prevalence of cosmetic procedures among older women in Hollywood, describing some results as "scary" and stating a preference for retiring over undergoing such enhancements. Hall has no plans for Botox or fillers, finding wrinkles to be a natural part of aging. "What's wrong with wrinkles? I have loads of wrinkles, but I don't mind. I'm 70, I should have wrinkles. I don't want to look weird, I don't want to scare my grandchildren," she remarked.

Despite her healthy lifestyle, Hall acknowledges her vices: daily rosé and smoking approximately 10 cigarettes a day. She enjoys hosting friends for extended summer stays, where meals are prepared by a private chef and always accompanied by wine. Her diet has evolved from her younger days, and she now avoids desserts and refined sugar, focusing on three daily meals rich in organic vegetables and fruit. Typical meals include eggs or oatmeal for breakfast, soup or salad for lunch, and stews, fish, chicken, meat, and vegetables for dinner.

Her exercise routine is unconventional. Hall, who has never visited a gym, maintains her fitness through activities like gardening, walking, and yoga in her Henley garden, which she describes as providing all the exercise she needs. "Famously insisting she has never set foot in a gym, Jerry maintains her figure through gardening, walking and a spot of yoga," the notes state.
