Jennifer Lopez remains in the Bel‑Air mansion she and Ben Affleck put on the market more than a year ago, posting new images from inside the property as the pair continue to negotiate how to sell the estate, multiple outlets reported.

The singer and actress uploaded three Instagram photos from the home's dressing room, and a source told DailyMail.com that Lopez has stayed because she still owns the property and her Hidden Hills house is undergoing renovations. TMZ and Us Weekly reported that Affleck is reportedly more willing to reduce the asking price than Lopez, who has resisted lowering the $68 million listing despite limited buyer interest.

The Wallingford estate, which the couple purchased in 2021 for about $60.85 million, has been listed since July 2024. The property spans roughly 46,000 square feet on a roughly 5‑acre promontory and includes 12 bedrooms, 24 bathrooms, a 12‑car garage and parking for about 80 vehicles, according to the listing. Real estate professionals quoted to TMZ have said the current $68 million asking price may be too high for the market and suggested it would likely need to be reduced by about 15 percent to attract qualified buyers.

Affleck and Lopez received a reported $64 million offer last year from a New Jersey couple, TMZ said, but that prospective buyer withdrew from escrow after a death in the family. Realtor.com contributor and Selling Sunset star Jason Oppenheim told the outlet in October 2024 that it would have been "surprising" for the house to sell in less than 100 days, underscoring the challenges of marketing such a high‑end property.

Market conditions have complicated the sale, agents have said. Insurers and buyers have been reacting to a wave of recent wildfires in Southern California, and outlets cited estimates that insurance on the mansion might run about $500,000 a year. That factor, together with a pool of buyers seeking discounts on ultra‑luxury homes, has been described by brokers as weighing on demand.

Lopez has periodically posted photographs and videos from the Bel‑Air grounds in recent months, showcasing interiors, the expansive backyard and the infinity and zero‑edge swimming pool with a built‑in hot tub. In the most recent dressing‑room photos, she wore a beige belted robe coat and prominent gold and diamond jewelry, and items visible in the room included a rack of clothing, a Louis Vuitton duffel and floral furnishings.

The couple paid nearly $15 million less than a previous asking price after the home returned to the market in 2024; the estate originally was listed in 2018 at $135 million and was later re‑priced before the 2021 purchase. Lopez has used the property as a backdrop for promotion of music and branded products, and media outlets reporting on the sale said she oversaw much of the home's decorating when the couple bought it.

DailyMail.com reported that it had reached out to Lopez's representative for comment. Representatives for Affleck and Lopez did not immediately provide public statements to the outlets that reported on the home's status.
