Jennifer Lopez spent Saturday afternoon shopping with Ben Affleck’s 13-year-old son, Samuel, in Beverly Hills, underscoring her continued role as a stepmother following her divorce from Affleck earlier this year.
The pair stopped at the Balenciaga store in Beverly Hills during the outing. Lopez, 56, and Affleck were married in 2022; their divorce was finalized in January. Upon marrying Affleck, Lopez became a stepmother to his three children: Violet, 19; Seraphina “Fin”, 16; and Samuel, 13, whom he shares with ex-wife Jennifer Garner.
On the daytime outing, Lopez showed a sculpted midriff in a long-sleeved white cropped top paired with low-waisted black trousers. She carried a Dior tote and wore nude-colored heels. Lopez is also the mother of 17-year-old twins Emme and Max.
The appearance follows recent public glimpses into Lopez’s personal life, including a rare look inside what has been reported as her $18 million mansion. Though Lopez and Affleck ended their marriage, the shopping trip and other recent interactions indicate she continues to spend time with Affleck’s children.
Affleck’s three children have split time between their parents since his 2005 divorce from Garner. Lopez’s continued presence with the family comes amid a period of adjustment following the former couple’s separation and subsequent legal finalization earlier this year.
