Jennifer Lopez is looking ahead to a "better" future as she marked her 57th birthday, nearly two years after her divorce from Ben Affleck was finalized.

Lopez shared a video on Instagram featuring a voiceover reciting Theodore Roosevelt's "Man in the Arena" speech, which focuses on perseverance through challenges. She captioned the post, "When you keep going it just keeps getting better."

Earlier in the week, Lopez shared glimpses of her birthday celebration with her sister, Lynda Lopez, including a photo from a trip to Paris. The images showed the sisters enjoying a vacation together, with one picture featuring Lopez in a marble tub.

"A double birthday sister trip is always a good idea!!" Lopez wrote in a caption accompanying the photos. "I love you Lynnie!! Happy birthday!!"

Lopez officially filed for divorce from Affleck in August 2024, two years after their marriage. The settlement was finalized in January 2025. Despite occasional public appearances together for family matters, Lopez has previously expressed contentment with her post-divorce life. In March, she described her current phase as a "happy era," stating in a "Good Morning America" interview that she felt "free" and that it felt "really good" to be on her own.
