Jennifer Lopez has shared her thoughts on what truly makes a man attractive, stating that genuine acts of service and consideration are far sexier than material wealth.

During her performance at the Dolce & Gabbana show in Taormina, Sicily, Lopez, 56, elaborated on her views. "But you know what really makes a man attractive? It’s not the watch. It’s not the car. It’s not the private jet. It really isn’t, although that’s nice," she said. "It’s nice. It’s seeing them make the bed in the morning or wash the dishes for you when you’re tired at night. That’s what’s sexy. Now that’s what I call sexy."

Lopez, a mother of two, further commented on the dynamics of relationships, noting, "Cause ladies, you know, we do all the things. We do all the things."

Her remarks were met with laughter and applause from the audience, according to People magazine. Earlier in the performance, Lopez engaged in a playful exchange with a backup dancer, asserting her independence and financial self-sufficiency. "I am, but I have my own money. Ladies, am I right? We don’t need anybody to buy us anything. We don’t. We want them to, sometimes that’s nice," she stated, referencing her well-known song "Love Don't Cost a Thing."

Lopez also recently reflected on her 2024 divorce from Ben Affleck, describing it as "the best thing that ever happened to me" during an interview on SiriusXM's "Howard Stern Show." She detailed a period of intense self-reflection and personal growth following the split, seeking guidance from therapists and coaches. "I was like, 'I'm gonna f---in' figure this s--- out if it kills me,'" she recalled.

Having been married four times, including to Marc Anthony and Ben Affleck, Lopez stated she learned that the issue wasn't her own lovability, but rather the capacity of her partners. "It's that they're not capable... They don't have it in them," she explained, adding that they gave her what they could, including material possessions. Through this process, Lopez feels she has achieved a more self-assured and self-aware state, appreciating herself more fully.

Lopez performed several of her hits during the Dolce & Gabbana event, including "Love Don’t Cost a Thing," "Waiting For Tonight," "Let’s Get Loud," "Ain’t Your Mama," and "Save Me Tonight," while wearing a sparkling bodysuit. Jennifer Lopez wears sparkling costume on stage.
