Jennifer Aniston's recent Instagram slideshow that said goodbye to summer appears to have included a photograph of her reported boyfriend, Jim Curtis, the Daily Mail reported Tuesday, though the actress has not publicly confirmed a relationship.
The Friends alum posted 18 images showing friends, sunsets and family; one frame shows the back of a man's head and shoulders in shadow, which the Daily Mail identified as Curtis, a 49-year-old author and life coach. Aniston tagged a list of longtime friends in the slide show — including Adam Sandler, Jason Bateman and Courteney Cox — but did not tag the man in that image, the report said.
Among the photographs was one of a blended canine family: Aniston's Labrador Lord Chesterfield and schnauzer Clyde alongside a rescue dog identified in reports as Curtis's pet, Odie. A source told the Daily Mail that the couple's mutual affection for rescue dogs "is something they've really bonded over," adding that the pets have helped draw them closer.
The Daily Mail also quoted an unidentified source saying "things are getting serious" and that the pair share interests including meditation, yoga and therapy. Entertainment Tonight previously captured footage on Aug. 20 of Curtis waiting on the sidelines as Aniston promoted her haircare company LolaVie, which celebrated its fourth anniversary this month.
Rumors about a romance between Aniston, 56, and Curtis began circulating in July after they were seen together on a yacht in Mallorca, Spain. In late August, paparazzi images showed the two entering the same black SUV separately in Manhattan en route to a dinner date, the Daily Mail reported.
Curtis has been publicly linked to other personalities in the past. He previously dated reality star Bethenny Frankel and divorced his ex-wife, Rachel Napolitano, with whom he has a teenage son, Aidan. In his 2017 book, Curtis wrote that he had struggled to maintain long-term romantic relationships and expressed regret about his relationship with his son, according to passages cited in media reports.
Aniston, who has been married twice — to Brad Pitt from 2000 to 2005 and to Justin Theroux from 2015 to 2017 — has not issued any public statement confirming a new partnership. Representatives for Aniston and Curtis did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
The slideshow and the accompanying coverage follow a period in which Aniston has promoted LolaVie and appeared publicly with close friends and collaborators. Media outlets have reported on the couple's shared social and lifestyle interests and the ways their pets appear to be integrated into their time together, but both the identity of the man in the photograph and the status of the relationship remain based on media reporting and unnamed sources rather than a confirmation from either party.
